Nine Months

You can tell that it's been harder and harder to keep up with these monthly photo shootings (that's what German speakers call a photo shoot, FYI) by the lack of 9 months sticker (why bother if he is just going to eat it), tardiness (he turned 9 months on the 10th), and my forgoing the usual European-style pretty boy clothes for a teddy bear outfit. I meant to save this for his Halloween costume, but he's already outgrowing it, so we're back to square one. (Maybe a punk rocker so we can really turn his hair into a mohawk?)

Hunter is such an energetic baby boy! In addition to crawling everywhere, he has also started pulling himself to a standing position every chance he gets. He has learned how to sit back down (i.e. fall back down), thankfully, and just keeps going. He's already getting boo boos from all his adventures. He loves jumping, dancing, and being ticked by Daddy. Those belly laughs are the best, aren't they? 

His 5th and 6th teeth cut through this month, making him drool a ton. He loves to eat meat and is not so interested in fruit and veggies, except for carrots and watermelon. He continues to say "baba" but also added "dada" this month, though these are meaningless for now. I can't believe we're already starting to plan for this boy's first birthday party!
